What’s the best pillow to buy and best place to get it?
Just bought a new king size bed, now I’m looking for king size pillows, I like big fluffy Pillows, but husband and I both have bad backs, so I don’t know if big and fluffy is the best. Anyway, wondering if anyone has found a great pillow they can’t live without and where to find one at a good price, thanks.
its trial and error. Ive been looking for the perfect pillow for years and often spent good money on them. One year I was heading off on a camping trip and was forced to buy a cheap pillow from the only store in town (it was a small country town, with a large Supermarket) – and I found the pillow of my dreams! It was only $15 – I kept the packet to ensure I would know the exact name and style, and have been buying that brand and style ever since. My advise is to try laying your head onto the pillow in the store, its usually in its plastic bag so its a bit funny feeling, but this helps you weed out the ‘unsuitables’. Dont presume like I did that the more money you spend, the better the pillow. Its about the firmness/softness/shape and support and you have to find what is right for you. If it hadn’t been for my camping trip, I would have never found that cheap supermarket pillow, so start out cheap and work your way up until you get the perfect one, it might take a few go’s before you get it right. Keep the packet with the name and style on it so you can find it once you have discovered the pillow for you. The pillow I got was a tontine one, from Woolworths in Canarvon (available at any Woolies store though).
Does anyone have a Memory Foam Contour Pillow ??
If so, which way are you suppose to use it?? I notice there is a big side and a smaller side. Im not sure which way I am suppose to sleep on it. From the picture it looks like the bigger part your suppose to put your head on. What do you guys thinks of it too?? I may be using it the wrong way but I notice I can fall alseep a little bit faster then my regular pillow. I noticed no back pain either. Now all I need is a memory foam mattress topper to make my mattress more comfy for a better nights rest!
Thanks guys for your help! Anyone know where you can buy a Memory foam mattress topper thats not so pricey??
I think that it’s slightly different sizes on both sides as to accommodate many different people…translating into "which ever way is most comfortable to you". As far as the mattress topper I would suggest the store "Tuesday Morning". Good luck and best wishes.
